Where did Spring Go?

It’s been a little chilly lately, but I’m sure many of you have had a chance to ride some of the local trails, I know we have and it’s been great! I’ll keep this letter short and just let you know of some upcoming events that you may not have heard about.

We’ve put out Events poster online, it lists trail maintenance days, Toonie Ride schedule, and other upcoming events. You can download the events poster here.

Hillbilly Trail Day – Sunday April 21

For those of you not on Facebook, or who may not have seen our events poster in the local bike shops, there is a Hillbilly Trail Day this Sunday, April 21st starting at 10:00 am. The details can be found on this facebook events page : https://www.facebook.com/events/133383366849358/

As a side note, if you haven’t heard the news yet, P.A.C.E. was in Myra-Bellevue Mountain Park working on their adopted trail; Earring. It looks like they had a lot of fun, and got some great work done in the process. Way to go! https://www.facebook.com/groups/earringtrail/

Shifted – Movie Premier – Thursday April 25, 7PM

A Virtu Media film; a local company filming local riders. I’m really excited to see this film, it’s always great to see the local talent ripping and shredding. The full details can be found on the facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/488690481185666/. Check out Teaser 2!

2nd Annual Crawford Kick-off – Sunday April 28, 10AM

For the second year, MTBco will kickoff the riding season in the Central Okanagan with the Crawford Kickoff Poker Ride & BBQ. This event was a huge success and a boat load of fun last year, and we hope to make it even better this year!! Toonie Rides – Starting May 29th

So many of our members were asking for it, so you got it; Toonie rides are alternating between Smith Creek and Myra-Bellevue Mountain Park. Full schedule on the Toonie Rides page.
